Vincent Okonkwo is a legal professional with 4+ years of integrated experience advising on commercial law, technology/cyberspace law and data protection. He is currently a Legal Manager with M-Kopa, an impact-driven and data-enabled African multinational technology company. Before joining M-Kopa, he was a legal counsel and the designated data protection officer for Renmoney, a leading fintech company in Nigeria. 

He is a fellow of the Internet Society’s Youth Ambassador Programme, a member of the Internet Society, a committee member of the NBA-Section on Business Law ICT Committee, and a lead analyst on technology and innovation policy with Borg Research.

Vincent is passionate about privacy and digital rights and has contributed extensively to legislative activism and research on data protection in Nigeria. He is broadly committed to contributing to solving issues at the frontier of humanity’s interaction with technology.
