Ilamosi Ekenimoh

Nigerian Lawyer

Ilamosi Ekenimoh is a Nigerian-qualified lawyer with over 9 years of experience working as a policy professional for political parties, CSO’s and governments across Africa. She has a multifunctional background in law and legal research, public policy, and human rights advocacy, and is an inaugural fellow of the Fratelli Tutti Political School and the Nigerian School of Internet Governance. In her most recent role, she managed the Sub-Saharan Region of Africa within the privacy team of a multinational technology conglomerate.

Prior to this role, she worked primarily as a lawyer, advising a cohort of startups across Africa as well as several multinational tech companies on data protection and privacy within the continent. She has also contributed to the drafting of legislation within Nigeria including the Start-Up Act; which is the first subject-matter specific legislation on Startups in Nigeria, and the Reserved Seat Bill.
